From 1 October 2021, a mountain bike vignette will be compulsory on the 4 intensive loops (Stoppelbergen - Green, Wildernissen - Purple, Staartse Heide - Red, Volksabdij - Blue). The vignette is compulsory for everyone aged 18 and over. The yellow connecting loop remains exempt from this vignette requirement. Proceeds from the vignettes will be used for maintenance of these routes.

Sportsmen and recreationalists increasingly encounter each other in nature. To give each other space and protect nature, there is the Outdoor Code. If everyone respects the code, we can all continue to enjoy nature.
The Outdoor Code consists of five rules:
- Be friendly, give each other space and reduce your speed.
- Feel responsible for your own behaviour towards nature and
its users.
- Dare to speak to others about their behaviour.
- Exercise in nature safely, wear protection.
- Stay on the paths and give nature some space.
The code is a joint initiative of the various sports associations and nature organisations (NTFU, KNHS, Athletics Union, Natuurmonumenten, Staatsbosbeheer and De Landschappen).
Attention: the singletracks are one-way routes. They are laid out so that you can only ride them in one direction, due to specific descents and limited space to cross. Therefore, pay close attention to the signage when you set off.
Our routes are popular and intensively used. That requires regular maintenance. With the proceeds from the MTB vignette, we protect the nature around the routes and maintain the trails. We do this together with our partners: Evides water company, Municipality of Woensdrecht, Natuurmonumenten, Staatsbosbeheer and Samen Sterk in Brabant.
A vignette costs €12 and gives you access to all mountain bike routes in the Grenspark for one year. It is valid for one year from the date of purchase. Visiting the area for just one day? Then you can opt for a day pass of €5, valid on the day of purchase. Young people under 18 do not need a vignette.
You can display the vignette on your smartphone or print it out on paper. As the vignette is registered to your name, it is important that you can always identify yourself.

Part goes to nature development, but the vast majority is spent on route safety, management and maintenance, so that you as a mountain biker can continue to enjoy well-maintained and challenging trails.
Each route belongs to the owner of the terrain. Some routes cross land owned by several owners. Within the Grenspark, the routes are on land owned by Evides, Gemeente Woensdrecht, Natuurmonumenten, Staatsbosbeheer, Volksabdij.
The routes are laid out as singletracks. This makes them playful and challenging, with height differences, technical sections and varied bends.
No, you may not. In Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide, access is prohibited between sunset and sunrise. So nature gets some peace and quiet.
No. Only use the singletracks and public roads.... Hiking trails or unmarked paths are therefore not allowed. Our routes are in unique natural areas belonging to European Networks of Protected Natural Areas. If you stay on the route, you do not cause unnecessary damage to nature. This way, you can enjoy yourself and together with our partners we can preserve the value of nature.
