Rules: Silence in the Grenspark photo competition - 2020
The participant declares
- To have taken the submitted image yourself and not to have sold or given away the copyrights to third parties.
- The submitted photo(s) must not have been previously published either on the internet or in print. The photo(s) must also not have previously won awards in other competitions.
- To have permission from the (recognisable) persons visible in the photograph
Conditions
- When taking images, it is not allowed to leave the footpaths, in accordance with the general accessibility regulation within Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide. When submitting, please indicate at which walking route the image was made.
- Everyone, regardless of age , may compete in all categories, but may not submit more than 1 photo in total.
- Photos always relate to the categories of the photo competition.
- Photos are submitted digitally via https://grensparkkalmthoutseheide.com/en/fotowedstrijd
- Each photo has a minimum size of 1 MB - maximum size of 10 MB
- Photos must not have been edited, except for the following operations: cropping, sharpening, contrast, brightness, shadows, highlights and white balance adjustment, polishing away dirt and blemishes.
- Adding elements from other images, removing image-defining elements from the submitted image and adding text are not allowed.
- No copyright may apply to the photos.
- The photos may be used royalty-free and without prior permission for purposes of Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide;
- Photos must be submitted by 15 September 2020 at the latest via the suggested link.
- When submitting, please mention the category in which you are competing, name, address and telephone number. Also indicate along which walking route the image was taken.
4 Categories
The categories in which a photo may be submitted are:
- Silence and man
- Silence and health
- Silence and landscape
- Silence and nature
Winning
A print will be made of the winning photo in each category (jury verdict), which will be displayed at a location in the Grenspark together with the other winning photos. In addition, each photographer with a winning photo will receive a book voucher worth 50 โฌ.
Uncollected prizes during the silence day on 25 October 2020 will not be returned.
Jury & Results
A professional jury will choose the three most beautiful and/or fun photos per category from all entries. One winning photo per category will be chosen from these. The winning photo will be announced during the award ceremony on 25 October 2020. The verdict of the jury is binding and no correspondence can be entered into about the result.
The laureates will receive a personal invitation to the award ceremony in early October.
