In January, Staatsbosbeheer will start forest operations in the Stoppelbergen on Brabantse Wal. These interventions are part of the management for a resilient and future-proof forest. Trees with an orange dot will be removed to give surrounding trees more light and space. Thanks to extra light on the forest floor, saplings are given the chance to grow, ultimately creating a more varied and stronger forest.
Temporary diversions will be set up during the works. The green MTB loop Stoppelbergen will be rerouted via the Scheidreef and temporary small diversions will also apply on footpaths Specht and Eekhoorn.
The work is expected to take about four weeks, depending on the weather. Any damage to the paths will be repaired as soon as possible after completion. Have any questions? Contact us at baronievanbreda@staatsbosbeheer.nl.
Thank you for following the temporary diversion in the area and thus contributing to everyone's safety.
