Junior Ranger camp, the nature camp for young people
Since 2006, there has been a Junior Ranger camp for young people aged 12 to 17 every summer in the second half of August. Logically, the theme of the camp is nature in the Grenspark and young people actually contribute themselves. Together with experienced leaders, they remove bird cherry and young pine trees, ring birds and identify dragonflies and other critters. There is plenty to investigate and do! All the knowledge gained will be tested in a nature quiz at the end of the week.
What and where?
The magnificent nature reserve Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide is the working and playing area during the day. At night, the youngsters sleep in a camping farm, where a delicious hearty meal awaits them after an afternoon of hard work.
Why a summer camp?
