This walk shows the diversity that the Grenspark harbours. The path meanders through forests, through the open Kambuus and Hazeduinen, through moors and past fens. Stop at the shore of the Putse Moer, one of the most famous fens on the heath. If you look carefully, you may find sundew. This little red carnivorous plant grows on the banks of the fens. On the way back, you pass the fire tower. A climb up this 25-metre-high tower offers great views over the vast heathland. Listen to the rustling of the leaves and grasses in the wind and the silence that rightly made this area a sanctuary. The walk takes you to the core of tranquillity on the Kalmthoutse Heide and runs partly through grazing land. Dogs are therefore not allowed.
