Volunteers wanted: help monitor amphibians

Are you a nature lover with a heart for and knowledge of amphibians? We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to help us monitor the fens and pools in the Grenspark. You will thus contribute to the protection of the unique species in this nature reserve.

What does volunteering involve?

• You will monitor a fixed list of fens and pools for the occurrence of amphibians.
• You will work outdoors in nature, using methods such as setting traps and evening visits (in March/April and June).
• You simply record your observations with the app Obsmapp via your smartphone or tablet.
• You recognise species based on sight and sound, where species knowledge is important.
