Species Challenge: count as many species as possible in the Grenspark!
From 19 to 25 May, during the Species-rich Grenspark Experience Week, we will highlight the rich biodiversity. How many species can we discover together? Together with several Flemish and Dutch nature organisations, we challenge you to count as many species as possible.
Why take part?
During the Species Challenge, you will search for unusual birds, rare plants, fascinating insects and much more! By recording these observations, you will contribute to important nature research and get to know the biodiversity of our region better. The Species Challenge is inspired by initiatives of the Dutch National Parks, the Agency for Nature and Forests and Natuurpunt's BioBlitz.

- Head into the Grenspark from 19 to 25 May and look for different species.

Would you like to take part in the National Biodiversity Challenge in Belgium that week at the same time? That's perfectly possible! All you then have to do extra is give a heart to the 'National Biodiversity Challenge 2025' in the Obsidentify app under 'Challenges'.
