On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October 2025, Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide will be all about silence. On the occasion of the International Day of Silence, Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide and various partners invite everyone to experience the power of silence in nature together.
As an officially recognised 3-star area of silence, the Grenspark offers a unique environment where peace, nature and contemplation come together. During a silence weekend, you can take part in various activities that invite you to stop, listen and experience how valuable silence is in our busy lives. From a meditative walk in the castle garden at Ravenhof to playful challenges for children at De Vroente, Duurzaam Educatiepunt and a silent exploration of the Arboretum: there is something for everyone.
