Do you live near Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide? Do you want to help improve and sustain this beautiful natural area? We invite you to participate in a resident survey. This survey is part of the European Interreg project MONA, which focuses on sustainable tourism in and around natural areas in Northwest Europe.

What is the MONA project?
The MONA project is a cross-border initiative funded by the European Union. The aim of this project is to develop sustainable mobility solutions that enhance the visitor experience and reduce visitors' ecological footprint. Grenspark is collaborating with the municipalities of Essen, Kalmthout, Stabroek, and Woensdrecht on this project. Together, we aim to promote soft mobility over the coming years by encouraging the use of (electric) bicycles, trains, and buses. At the same time, we want to reduce parking pressure around the fragile nature area and minimize inconvenience for local residents.

Your opinion matters
As a local resident, you are an important source of information about transportation patterns and potential solutions. Many visitors come to the nature reserve by car, causing parking pressure and inconvenience for locals. Your input helps us take targeted measures for a healthier and more eco-friendly living environment.

How can you help?
We kindly ask you to take about 10 minutes of your time to fill out our survey. Participation is completely voluntary and anonymous. We adhere to GDPR guidelines, so you must be at least 16 years old to participate.
