Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide plays an important role in his work as a field researcher. After all, it is one of the few places in Flanders where you can find such extensive, contiguous nature. With heathland, dunes, fens, forests, meadows and polders, the Grenspark provides a haven for many typical and rare birds.

In this episode, Joris gives an insight into his creative process, from the first sketch to the final drawing. And he shares special bird sightings from home and abroad.
