Mountain Bike Event: working together for better trails and more MTB fun!
On Saturday 2 December, together with Stichting Grenspark Trail Builders, we will organise our first Dig & Ride Event, during which you will get to know the close-knit mountain bike community. In the morning, you will help with trail tinkering. Who knows, you might build a jump, help repair a bowl bend or help with pruning. After lunch, the riding fun starts. In the afternoon, the Grenspark Trail Builders provide a diverse offer such as a jump contest, several free mini-clinics to improve your riding skills and a not-to-be-missed social ride. Children, youngsters and adults with a passion for MTB are welcome to join in and network on the day.
What's on the programme?
09:00 - 13:00 - Time to Dig
On the day of the event, our regular crew members welcome you at Taverne De Leeuw van Vlaanderen. After a warm welcome, you will set to work in small groups, guided by experienced Grenspark Trail Builders, at various job sites.
13:00 - 14:00 - Time to Eat
Around noon, we will gather for a delicious lunch and the opportunity to get to know each other better.
14:00 - 16:00 - Time to Ride
In the afternoon, it's time to explore the trails. Several options are available:
- Join a social ride with our experienced crew members.
- Take part in our free mini-clinics to improve your skills, ranging from learning techniques for jumps, expertly taking bowl turns to perfecting your pump sessions.
- Challenge yourself to the jump contest for fun! Who has the skills, who jumps with style? Fun is an essential part of mountain biking, so why not take part in the jump contest?
Of course, there will be plenty of time to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink.
