On Saturday 24 October, nature guide and meditation trainer Bram Terleede from IVN Brabantse Wal invites you to the annual meditative silent walk in the Kleine Meer nature reserve in Ossendrecht.
During this special walk, you’ll slow down, leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and have plenty of space to open up your senses. In the peace and quiet of nature, moments of mindful walking, sensory awareness and meditation alternate.
The Kleine Meer area, managed by Natuurmonumenten, provides a stunning backdrop for this. Sandy soils, water, variations in elevation and the diversity of the landscape invite you to look at things differently, to listen and to consciously experience your surroundings. In this way, a walk becomes a meditative journey through nature.
This activity takes place as part of the Day of Silence, an annual occasion to reflect on the value and significance of silence.
