Those wishing to take a closer look at the treasures of the Kleine and Groote Meer can join a guided landscape walk on Whit Monday 25 May.
We explore the Kleine Meer and Groote Meer area with two guides. A fascinating tour through a varied landscape of heathlands, forests and water bodies.
The Cogels family has removed many rhododendrons to give the herb and shrub layer a new chance, and many regional (deciduous) trees have been planted.
The connection of the restored fen De Evertand (in Belgium) with the Groote Meer is also explained.
