In our densely populated Flanders, nature is often closer than we think. We find nature not only in remote reserves or forests, but also in our own living environment. Various animals have adapted to living close to people. Although contact with our nature can be enriching, these animals can sometimes cause nuisance and/or damage when looking for food and shelter.
Living with wolves requires effort. Many problems can be avoided by taking appropriate preventive measures. The Agency for Nature and Forests and the Agency for Agriculture and Sea Fisheries organise an information market to answer all your questions about living with wolves.
Would you like to know more about the presence of these animals in your neighbourhood? Are you interested in how you can protect your own animals or would you like more information on possible subsidy opportunities? Don't hesitate and be sure to drop by. You are most welcome! Experts from different partners and sectors will be on hand to inform you.
Practical information:
A separate info moment will be organised for professional livestock farmers in the morning at a location in the region. Livestock farmers will be informed about this at a later date. Consult our website for more information: www.natuurenbos.be/wolven
