It is that time again - the heather is in full bloom in Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide! Walkers, cyclists, horse riders and photographers can indulge themselves during this special time of year. Until when is the heather in bloom?
Although the exact flowering period of the heathland can vary annually, it usually extends from mid-August to mid-September. This means you still have a few weeks to enjoy the beautiful purple heather landscapes in Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide. In the Grenspark, you can choose from no fewer than 28 signposted walking routes, ranging from a short lunch break to a challenging day trip. Want to admire the typical heath landscapes?
