| Notes | On this informative walk, guides Hilde van Duffel, Elke Van den Bergh and Hilaire Kerkhofs will be happy to take you on an exploration of the Steertse Heide, an unknown part of the Kalmthoutse Heide for many. The Steertse Heide is (former) agricultural land, but is being systematically transformed back into nature. How do we want to manage nature here? Why is this so important and what challenges do we face? Which species could have a place here? Immerse yourself in the beauty of this beautiful area and we promise you will return home with an expanded view. The walk lasts until +/- 12.30pm. Appropriate clothing and sturdy walking shoes or boots may be useful. |
