Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide is a large nature reserve of 6,000 hectares: an oasis of tranquillity between cities and villages, an area of surprising landscape, with literally and figuratively grand views. The area extends on both sides of the Dutch-Flemish border located in the municipalities of Woensdrecht (the Netherlands) and Kalmthout, Essen and Stabroek (Flanders).

• Gate development: organising and following up consultation with stakeholders of reception gates with a view to further development of these sites and the surrounding area

 Do you recognise yourself in this profile?

• You are a landscape architect or designer or equivalent through further training and/or experience
• You have a good knowledge of design and photo programmes such as AutoCad, Indesign and Photoshop
• You work fluently with social media such as Facebook and Instagram
• You have a clear affinity with nature
• You have a basic knowledge of GIS.
• You are willing to work flexible hours (with occasional evening and weekend work)
• You can easily move around for work in and around the Grenspark

Competences

• You are a team player who highly values consultation and cooperation
• You are communicative and have the necessary social skills
• You are a doer who can work flexibly and independently and likes to take initiative
• You are familiar with project-based work
• Knowledge of the region is a plus

What does Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide offer?

• Varied position with room for personal input.
• Fixed-term contract (one year) with option for extension
• Deployment: 32 hours per week
• Salary according to salary scale level B of the Flemish municipalities taking into account relevant seniority.
• Location: Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide, p/a. Rouwmoer 7, Essen.
