Entrance gate Volksabdij

Characteristic of this area are the differences in height, due to its location on the Brabantse Wal. This makes a walking or cycling tour extra active and challenging! Furthermore, you can expect beautiful forests, heathland, fens and vast polders here. For the little ones, you will find a play forest with adventurous play elements and a dog-walking zone for your four-legged friend.

No catering or sanitary facilities are currently available at Poort Volksabdij, but walkers and cyclists can use this starting point for the many cycling and hiking tours that depart from this gate.

Access Gate Volksabdij is easily accessible by bicycle, public transport and car. We encourage you to come to the gate and enjoy nature in a sustainable way.

• By bus: From Bergen op Zoom and Putte, this gate is easily accessible by bus line 104 (Roosendaal - Hoogerheide ), line 105 ( Ossendrecht - Bergen op Zoom ) and line 106 (Putte - Bergen op Zoom ) of bus company Arriva. • By bicycle: The entrance gate is easily accessible by bicycle. A bicycle shed is available.
• By car: Free parking is available at Volksabdij.
