(Future) Nature management in the Kalmthoutse Heide: do 13 January

  • Tuesday 4 January 2022

Nature management in the Kalmthoutse Heide, what does that mean exactly? What works were carried out in the past and what is the result for animals, plants and ecosystems? What management works are still being carried out and what do the managers hope to achieve with them? Come and listen to what Jef De Winter (forester at Kalmthoutse Heide), Frederik Naedts (Natuurpunt, coordinator of Stappersven) and Jan Weverbergh (coordinator of Grenspark Kalmthoutse Heide) have to say about the management of heathland, woods and shifting dunes. It will be a fascinating evening, with three good storytellers, who will answer frequently asked questions from recreationists and local residents in a round-table discussion.

30 people can attend the evening in 't Centrum (Kalmthout), 100 people can register to attend online.
