With warmer and drier summers, fire in nature reserves is a real risk. All the more reason to be well prepared.
Fire risk is assessed daily using a fire warning index, to which four successive alert phases (green, yellow, orange and red) are linked. This is in connection with supervision and preparedness of fire services, managers and other emergency services.

If a fire breaks out, the fire brigade will respond at normal strength.
