Fire risk in nature reserves

With warmer and drier summers, fire in nature reserves is a real risk. All the more reason to be well prepared.

Fire risk is assessed daily using a fire warning index, to which four successive alert phases (green, yellow, orange and red) are linked. This is in connection with supervision and preparedness of fire services, managers and other emergency services.

This warning covers all forest and nature areas of Nature and Forest located in the province. The fire risk in forest and nature areas of other public administrations such as provinces and municipalities, or of private owners, is of course similar. Here, we advise you to exercise similar caution.
